Tut, tut, here comes daddy's freight train!
I confess that I (44) bought this set for myself. Of course, I told my partner it was for my son (6), who also takes great pleasure in it.

Bluetooth all well and good but the battery box and the receiver must be separated.
The Bluetooth receiver is permanently installed in the battery block and the plugs are also different. If you had the receiver externally as before, so could swap, and the plugs were the same, I would have no problem with it.
Furthermore, the remote isn't really "expandable" anymore, it just has push buttons with no cross or pin connectors. I now have x amount of IR stuff (Lego tech) that is slowly becoming obsolete, I would at least still be able to use the battery box....I guess I'll have to tear all that stuff apart and find an Arduino-based solution. Otherwise, the set is solid for the Galaxus price. Definitely shouldn't be more expensive though - so with the Migros price I'd be disappointed now already. In terms of play, the set is great: with the forklift, you can load the money from the money truck onto a container, and then this with the crane on the wagon. I can not ask for more than that. :)
Unfortunately, it has only one switch. That's a shame, since you can't do much with it. A second turnout would be nice as a supplement.Pro
