A clear buy recommendation for fans of Lego Harry Potter
This set was a joy to assemble. The only downer was the rotating platform: I think it's a shame that they didn't make it possible to rotate it with a crank. The fact that you have to fiddle with it to get it to move is somehow ... well, stupid.
Otherwise the set is well done, I like the alternating use of colours and types of stone in the main building, it gives the building a nice texture and life.
The disc with the mermaid could have been a print, but applying the sticker was unproblematic.
If you don't like the open back construction, it is a good idea to buy a second set and connect it modified with hinge bricks (I don't know what they are called in German), so you can build a 16 stud deep building to open up.A********
Great Lego set
Great set from Lego for the Harry Potter story. My son already has several and they can all be put together to form one big "Hogwarts". Well done with beautiful details. However, I find the price of the Harry Potter Lego generally quite high.
