- Version: Goal and striker rods for 3 figures or goalkeeper - The Sportime Match foosball rods are Cat2 rods. Category 2 rods are suitable for foosball tables in private environments. These rods are also popular in public, supervised areas where foosball is played carefully. - Sportime Match foosball rods are elastic, absolutely straight and have a 2-fold nickel-plated, smooth surface. The elaborate production process involves many steps to turn steel tubes into these foosball rods. In contrast to solid rods or cheaper hollow rods, these rods retain their straight shape. They can withstand loads of at least 35 kg and spring back into their original shape when bent. Another advantage is that hollow poles are lighter than solid poles and can therefore be played faster. - The inner walls of the poles are made of 3.5 mm thick steel. The steel tubes are industrially alloyed several times. In the test laboratory, these rods withstand 8 hours of salt solution spraying. - The kicker bars have a diameter of 15.8 mm, they are generally referred to as 16 mm bars. Foosball table plain bearings usually have a diameter of 16 mm, so the foosball bars are 0.2 mm thinner so that they can still run with enough support but with as little friction as possible in the foosball table bearings. - The rods have 4 mm ø drill holes for attaching the foosball figures. The holes are drilled precisely, accurately and parallel through the centre of the rods. This means that the foosball figure screws can be easily inserted through the bars and the figures are positioned 1A next to each other. Sportime bases the position/spacing of the drill holes on the German foosball table tournament standard. The Sportime foosball rods fit all well-known foosball tables.
