Category 3 rods are suitable for professional players and can withstand high loads. We recommend these foosball rods for professional players and for foosball tables in public areas that are used very frequently. - The Sportime Black Dragon tournament foosball rods are elastic, absolutely straight and have a hardened, smooth surface. These foosball rods are made from steel tubes in a complex production process involving many steps. Unlike solid poles or cheaper hollow poles, these poles retain their straight shape. They can withstand loads of at least 45 kg and spring back to their original shape when bent. - For a concentrated game, the Sportime Black Dragon tournament foosball table rods do not reflect the light as strongly as high-gloss chrome rods. The rods are supplied with a slightly shiny industrial look. With every match, the rods polish themselves in the bearings and become shinier. The dark bars are a great colour contrast to the playing field and the figures. - The inner walls of the rods are made of 3.5 mm thick steel. The steel tubes are industrially alloyed several times and treated against corrosion. In the test laboratory, these rods withstand 16 hours of salt solution spraying. - The kicker bars have a diameter of 15.8 mm, generally referred to as 16 mm bars. As a rule, kicker bearings have a diameter of 16 mm, which is why the kicker rods are 0.2 to 0.3 mm thinner so that they can still run with enough grip but with as little friction as possible in the kicker table bearings. - The rods have 4 mm ø drill holes for attaching the foosball figures. The holes are drilled precisely, accurately and parallel through the centre of the rods. This makes it easy to insert the foosball figure screws through the rods and the figures stand upright.
