Upon contact with exudate, Biatain's unique 3D foam structure conforms closely to the wound bed, providing excellent absorption—even under compression.

Long Wear Time:
Due to Biatain's excellent absorption, the dressing is characterized by a long wear time (up to 7 days).

Biatain Soft-Holding is a soft and flexible dressing that offers high wearing comfort.

Mode of Action:
Wound exudate is vertically drawn away from the wound by the unique 3D foam structure and securely retained, while still maintaining a moist wound environment, providing optimal conditions for wound healing.

Composition:
Biatain Soft-Holding consists of a vapor-permeable, bacteria- and water-proof top film, an absorbent polyurethane foam, and a gentle adhesive.

Usage:
Biatain Soft-Holding can be used for a wide range of exuding wounds, particularly for venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, second-degree burns, postoperative wounds, and abrasions. Biatain Soft-Holding can also be used under compression therapy. Biatain Soft-Holding should not be used on split-thickness skin graft donor sites.
