You can spend up to 11 euros for a tube of toothpaste - or just 62 cents. Our test shows: Among the best toothpastes are also very cheap ones. And comparing is not only worthwhile in terms of price: there is also a wide range of scores. The test winners are very good, the worst toothpastes poor.
The result: almost every second toothpaste tested fails: We rated 199 products as "poor" or "insufficient". "Satisfactory" or "sufficient" are 58 toothpastes. They have minor defects. A good third of all toothpastes can be recommended: 116 products are rated "very good" and 27 "good"...
