Der Philips HP8362/00 ist ein solider Haarglätter, der vor allem bei den Sicherheitsfaktoren und in der Handhabung punktete. Auch das Styling-Ergebnis fiel gut aus. Da sich die Tasten auf der Grifffläche befinden, ist das Vorhandensein der Tastensperre angebracht. Die Haare der Proband(inn)en fühlten sich nach dem Glätten weicher an.
Der Haarglätter überzeugt mit seiner sehr kurzen Aufheizzeit und der gleichmäßigen Wärmeverteilung. Er liefert ein gutes Ergebnis und eine großartige Performance. Jedoch fällt die Sonic-Funktion recht Gewöhnungsbedürftig aus, da hier ein sehr deutliches Vibrationsgeräusch stören kann.
