Was looking for a razor to trim my beard. Although I had already read on other sites that the razor doesn't cut well, I bought it - partly because it was the only razor with a trimmer I could find.
I have a rather weak beard growth, which is why I also want to trim it and not shave it off completely. I use the 3 or 5 mm attachment for trimming. The whole thing works so far, but the same area has to be shaved several times to get the desired result. This can take a good 10 minutes.
At first, I wanted to shave away the remaining beard hair on my neck with the normal attachment, but even after dozens of passes, there was still stubble - which also caused severe skin irritation. I still use my "old" razor for this.
By the way, I haven't tried a wet shave yet, but it might work a little better.

Aberrant for a hygienic product. I don't thank you for the loss of time and the fact that I will have to travel for a return due to a quality control that should have been done upstream.

This review was created for a different variant: Series 3
In many reviews you can read that the S3 series is weak in shaving. I had the same impression after the first few shaves. However, the problem has been solved after shaving a few times. It shaves quite decently. He tears only if you go over too hastily.
The wet shave I have not yet tested extensively.
The trim attachment works fully satisfactory and with the 5 attachments you can also vary a little. Only something like hair edges you can not trim properly, because something remains (Bauartbedingt).
There is a star deduction for the fact that you can not use the shaver in mains operation. If you forget to charge, you have to wait at least 5 minutes until you can use it. If the battery fails at some point, you have to buy a new device.
