I am a big fan of the Philips Sonicare devices. However, every time I buy a toothbrush I have the same problem after a while and now I fix it myself:
The brush head loosens after a while and wobbles, so there is no longer any real pressure on the brush and it rattles.
The cause is a loose screw that only needs to be tightened. To do this, however, the appliance must be opened via the underside (precision mechanic's screwdriver: carefully remove the lid and then turn the appliance sideways out of the plastic clip holders, then pull it out). However, only do this outside the warranty period, as this is no longer valid if you open the device yourself.
The manufacturer apparently wants the devices to be replaced after a while, because not everyone would open the device, but would rather buy a new one.
had the previous model before, but this one was stronger... wanted to return them because of this, but without packaging it was no longer possible.
then after 2 years they already break again.
otherwise she cleans well.

I switched from a 9000 to this one and am completely satisfied. I've never used all the extra functions of the 9000, so the 4000 is more than enough for me.

We switched from Oral-B to Phillips. The brush has a nice design, stays clean and doesn't always have those nasty toothpaste marks. The teeth feel so much cleaner after use than with our previous model. The battery lasts an incredibly long time, the only downside, as with all electric toothbrushes, is that the replacement brushes are expensive.
