I've had the blanket for a while now, at the beginning everything was tip-top, but for about 2 weeks now I've always been electrified, I haven't washed it yet, and I often use it without a heating cable, because the blanket alone provides warmth, but now when I stand up or something, and touch my boyfriend for example, it always pinches.... Why is that? Can I prevent it? Does it get better after washing? Or is it broken'?

This is not due to the ceiling, but to the dry air caused by winter. It is much easier to become statically charged, which leads to this sometimes painful discharge. The clothes you wear also play a role. A remedy is often a humidifier to bring the humidity back to a normal level (it is also more pleasant for the respiratory tract and eyes).
