Why does the DeepClean+ mode take 3 minutes without the app connection and only 2 minutes with the app? It also says so on the Philips homepage. But I don't understand the reason behind it.
The default mode of your toothbrush is "Clean". This mode offers a brushing time of 2 minutes and is suitable for daily use.
From practical experience: It's actually quite enough.
In addition, I occasionally use Gum Care; to remove discolouration after a long day/evening and wine consumption. This happens rather rarely.
The other cleaning modes are:
- Deep Clean (3:00 minutes): This allows more time to be spent on problem areas.
- Deep Clean+ (2:00/3:00 minutes): Similar to Deep Clean mode. When your toothbrush is connected, this mode runs for 2 minutes. BrushPacer feedback occurs every 20 seconds. If your toothbrush is not connected, this mode runs for 3 minutes. BrushPacer feedback occurs every 30 seconds.
--> With the APP, brushing can be optimised; therefore shorter. There has to be a benefit for an APP somewhere. 😉
- White (2:30 minutes): Ideal for removing superficial discolouration.
- Polish (1:00 minute): Ideal for smoothing the surfaces of the teeth.
- Gum Care (3:00 minutes): Perfect for cleaning teeth and gums.
- Gum Health (3:20 minutes): Designed to clean and massage the gums to promote gum health.
- Sensitive (2:00 minutes): Gentle vibrations, suitable for sensitive teeth.
- Tongue Care (20 seconds): Cleans the tongue with the TongueCare brush head.
