A fully automatic bike wash station from Austria
We usually clean bikes manually. This is despite the fact that bicycle components, the electronics on e-bikes and sensitive high-tech carbon frames require a gentle cleaning technique that does not involve a high-pressure cleaner or garden hose. A company from Austria has developed a solution to this contradiction.
The Austrian machine and system manufacturer Wintersteiger has developed a fully automatic washing station for bicycles. The "Velobrush" is designed to gently clean delicate components, the electronics on e-bikes and sensitive high-tech frames.
The bike is loaded into the machine via an ergonomic transport carriage and cleaned there with rotating brushes and low water pressure. Bearings and other moving parts are protected. The machine is designed as a completely closed system, so the surrounding area remains clean and dry. The water can be used again and again in a closed water circuit with a filter system.
Award-winning concept
The "Velobrush" from Wintersteiger was recently presented at the world's largest trade fair for sports in Munich, the ISPO, and honoured with an award. Service workshops or professional bike hire companies can use it to clean all types of bikes quickly, conveniently and in a resource-saving way.
- For professional indoor and outdoor use
- Capacity of up to 25 bikes per hour
- Low water and energy consumption
- High-pressure tyre and rim cleaning
