Asus brings the first monitor with 500 hertz refresh rate
From 360 to 500 hertz. Nvidia and Asus launch the Rog Swift G, the first gaming monitor with such a high refresh rate.
There was not much to see for consumers at the Computex Nvidia keynote. At least the chip giant showed a new monitor from Asus in passing. The Asus Rog Swift G-Sync is the first monitor ever to feature G-Sync - a technology for variable refresh rates - with a refresh rate of 500 Hertz.
It is not known when exactly the monitor will be available. However, it is known who the target group of the 1080p TN panel is: e-sports enthusiasts. The monitor features Nvidia's G-Sync Esports Mode, which is supposed to guarantee low latencies by deactivating the variable backlight. Added to this is support for the Nvidia Reflex Analyzer, which allows users to measure the end-to-end latency of a system when using an Nvidia Reflex mouse and Nvidia GPU.

I can see the difference in Super Slow Motion. Personally, I already don't really notice the difference between 144 and 240 Hertz when gaming. Such high refresh rates probably only make a difference for pros, if at all.
