Could a new Star Wars comic confirm a "Rise of Skywalker" leak?

A new Star Wars comic book has upset fans: has a 36-year-old mystery that seemed to have been solved been brought back to life? If so, it would confirm the alleged 'Rise of Skywalker' leaks.
One of the biggest Star Wars conundrums in 'The Empire Strikes Back' seems to have taken a new turn in the upcoming 'Rise of Skywalker'. We're talking about the scene where Obi-Wan and Yoda are on Dagobah talking about a last hope that isn't Luke Skywalker.
At least that's what the new Star Wars comic "Star Wars: Age of Resistance, Rey #1" suggests.
Another hope - Rey?
Spoiler warning: this is more speculation than fact, but I still want to have warned you. If you want to see "Rise of Skywalker" in peace, don't read on.
In 1980, it's one of the greatest mysteries in the still-young history of Star Wars cinema: Luke Skywalker interrupts his training with Yoda and rushes to the aid of his captive friends. As soon as he has left the planet Dagobah, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda exchange meaningful words:
"The boy is our last hope," Obi-Wan tells Yoda.
"No. There is another," replies Yoda.
At the time, even Star Wars creator George Lucas probably didn't know who this other hope was. Only three years later, in "The Return of the Jedi", it turns out that Luke has a twin sister - Leia. As such, she is the other hope should Luke fail.
No?
Most recently, 36 years later, came the Marvel series "Star Wars: Age of Resistance" on starwars.com. A series that plays mainly between "The Force Awakens" and "The Last Jedi".

The following passage is worth mentioning:
Poe Dameron: "Luke may be our only hope."
Leia: "No. I think... there is another."

The question arises: is this simply a tribute to the original - a respectful quotation - or is it something more meaningful?
Looking for clues: a possible interpretation
In "Star Wars" since "The Phantom Menace" there has been the prophecy of the chosen one, who is supposed to balance the Force. The exact interpretation of the legend is not clearly proven. Especially since the release of the latest Star Wars trilogy.
Initially, Anakin Skywalker was the chosen one. This theory was also encouraged by the events of the cartoon series "The Clone Wars".
But Anakin fell to the dark side of the Force, so the burden seems to have passed to his son, Luke Skywalker. Indeed, he resists the temptations of the Emperor who, like his father before him, wants to lure him to the dark side of the Force.
But when Luke Skywalker falls to the dark side of the Force, the burden seems to have passed to his son, Luke Skywalker.
But when Luke is overwhelmed by Darth Sidious's flashes of power, it is ultimately Darth Vader - Anakin - who throws the Emperor into the hole of the Death Star.
The Emperor is dead. Anakin fulfils the prophecy of the chosen one. Apparently. Because, meanwhile, the trailer for "Rise of Skywalker" indicates that the Emperor probably survived. And with both Anakin and Luke dead, neither can be the chosen one anymore.
Canonical novels such as "Star Wars: Bloodline" confirm that Leia, the alternate hope, is Force-sensitive, but that she left Luke's Jedi training after the original trilogy to invest more time in politics and rebuilding the Galactic Republic.
So, while Leia herself may have become a powerful Jedi, it's safe to assume that she probably left the path that would have made her that "other hope". Thus, the comic book "Rise of the Resistance" could pave the way for Rey: she could be that last hope who restores the balance of power more than 40 years after the release of "A New Hope", the first Star Wars film, once and for all.
.. Especially if the leaks that assume Rey is a descendant of Skywalker or even a clone of him apply.
"Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" is the third and final part of the new Star Wars trilogy, which will complete the trilogy of trilogies. The film will be released on 18 December 2019.
