"Creative set Luminance 6901": Caran d'Ache and Oliver Jeffers design pencil palette

"Oh my goodness! What a perfect collab!" commented one user on Instagram about the collaboration between Caran d'Ache and illustrator Oliver Jeffers. This resulted in the "Creative Set Luminance 6901". The pen manufacturer has announced the launch on its Insta channel.

The set consists of eight drawing tools. These include six coloured pencils from the 100-piece Luminance series, the maxi colour pencil Pink fluo and a two-colour Graphicolor pencil Yellow fluo and HB. The brand promises that this colour palette is a "well thought-out basis" for beginners as well as advanced artists.
The collaboration between the artist and the brand came about because Jeffers says he has a "soft spot" for their pens. The colours he selected are shades that he himself likes to use in everyday life. The two-colour Graphicolor pencil, for example, is particularly suitable for creating contrasts.

The two neon pencils in pink and yellow are definitely a good addition to the rest of the colour palette, in my personal opinion. The box consists primarily of dark, muted colours. Neon pink and neon yellow could set beautiful accents.
Colouring course included in the set
The pencil box also includes a painting course with Oliver Jeffers. Inside is a QR code that provides access to an online course led by the artist himself. In it, he shows users how to create a campfire scene on paper with the help of the "Luminance 6901" set.
