Cameltoe: That's what it's called when the labia stand out like a camel toe in briefs or leggings. Company founder Marie Müller presented a pair of briefs in the "Lion's Den" that is designed to prevent this - with the help of a reinforced crotch.
"The pestering must finally stop": As well as Marie Müller, you probably know the unpleasant feeling of underwear slipping, cutting in, chafing or pushing off. This can quickly spoil the pleasure of a pretty thong. The "ByeByeToe" is designed to avoid all these problems and ensure a comfortable fit. It is a tight-fitting, seamless thong with a slightly padded crotch. This prevents a so-called cameltoe from appearing when worn: this is also the promise in the Insta-Reel.
The programme "Die Höhle der Löwen" is a kind of pitch: participants can present their products and inventions to a jury of several people, the so-called "lions". This consists of entrepreneurs who then consider whether they want to enter into a deal with the participants and invest in the start-up - provided they are convinced by the business idea presented.
The jury reacted with interest to the "ByeByeToe". "I think we live in a time when women don't have to hide for anything," commented one of the judges. In her opinion, the briefs are practical, as underwear often cuts in, especially during sport. "Nobody has to hide anything," admits founder Marie. She just wants to offer an alternative.
The development of her own briefs was preceded by a long search by the entrepreneur. She had tried different underwear for years: None stayed reliably in place or didn't pull into her private parts. Marie now wants to revolutionise the underwear market with the "ByeByeToe", as she says. It is not yet clear whether this revolution will also arrive at Galaxus: "I have already asked the purchasing department if or when we will get the "ByeByeToe" into the range. I'll let you know as soon as this is the case.
