IFA 2020: These are Germany's most popular tech YouTubers
IFA is all about innovations in the technology sector. Of course, the opinions of influencers are also an important part of this. Galaxus has therefore researched the most popular tech influencers and presents the five most influential in more detail.
Since the launch of YouTube, more and more technology enthusiasts have been sharing their knowledge with the world in entertaining vlogs. The opinions of influencers are playing an increasingly important role in the product choices of Germans and their reviews and unboxing videos have long since inspired millions - especially young people, but also adults. At Galaxus Deutschland, we have found out who the 60 most influential tech YouTubers from Germany are and present the five stars of the scene:
Place 1: AlexiBexi (1.42 million subscribers)
With more than one million subscribers, AlexiBexi aka Alexander Böhm is the most popular tech influencer in Germany. Initially less focused on technology, he quickly gained popularity by dubbing English-language songs into German and answering questions as "Erklärbar". Today, he devotes himself almost exclusively to reviews of the latest smartphones, computers, gadgets and e-vehicles. In one of his latest pranks, he takes a close look at the iMac 2020:
Place 2: TutopolisTV (957,000 subscribers)
Marco Santos Silva comes from the tranquil town of Leverkusen and has been publishing videos since 2013. He is a passionate gamer and became known as the "funniest Fortnite player in Germany". But he's also a real tech geek and knows the best repair tips and tricks for smartphones and anything on two wheels. Because he can't resist Google products, he tests the "Pixel Buds", for example:
Place 3: Felixba (670,000 subscribers)
Felix Bahlinger, aka Felixba, regularly opens the original packaging of various new smartphones for his test reports. In addition to mobile phones, Felixba also tests tablets, smartwatches, various gadgets and accessories. No top device does not pass through his hands. The range is huge, as is the fan base: Felixba now generates millions of clicks with his stylish and cinematic tech reviews. In one of his latest videos, for example, he shares his thoughts on the new Galaxy Z Fold2:
Place 4: SwagTab (373,000 subscribers)
Franz Feuerer is practically THE expert when it comes to smartphones and tablets. There is almost no device that he hasn't held in his hands and put through its paces. In addition to reviews, you can also find unboxings, benchmarks, gaming tests and detailed comparisons on his channel. Together with his colleague "Technikfaultier", he also produces the company channel "Sparmag". Incidentally, his favourite smartphone is the Huawei P30 Pro. The review of the latest model can be found here:
Place 5: iKnowReview (359,000 subscribers)
Cinema film or tech review? iKnowReview knows how to showcase technology. This is also reflected in Kilian's unmistakable camera style and minimalist design. Behind the channel description "Review | Unboxing | Smartphone | Gadgets", viewers can expect a variety of products, such as the latest smartphones, the most expensive computers and everything that is fun, such as the most innovative e-cars and bikes like the Vanmoof S3:
Vanmoof S3, OnePlus Nord & Co.: The most popular products this summer
The best-known tech YouTubers are usually among the lucky ones who are the first to hold a new smartphone, tablet or gadget in their hands and test it. This is not the only reason why their reviews are clicked thousands of times after just a few days - a good indicator of the trend factor! So which products are the most eagerly awaited? One of the most popular videos at the moment is from iKnowReview and takes its fans on a test ride of the new S3 e-bike from Vanmoof. Also trending is the new mid-range flagship killer OnePlus Nord and its review by AlexiBexi. Almost as popular, with more than 150,000 views, is the test of the Huawei P40 Pro by the tech sloth.
