Apple's September event is just around the corner and the public are eagerly awaiting to see the iPhone 13. But now tech journalist and leaker Jon Prosser is already drawing attention to the next model. He claims to know details about the design of the iPhone 14.

Just one day after the official invitation to Apple's September event, where the iPhone 13 is to be unveiled, tech journalist Jon Prosser has kicked off the next round of leaks. He claims to have already seen the iPhone 14.

For months, he and his team have reportedly been working on this exclusive story. Various sources are said to have leaked photographs and schematic diagrams of the iPhone 14 to them, which is due to be launched in around a year's time.

No more «cooktop» on the back

According to Prosser's information, the iPhone 14 is supposed to be even more similar to the iPhone 4 from 2010 when it comes to design. He claims that the elevation of the camera notch on the back will disappear and that the selfie cam will also hide under the display. This would result in a completely smooth iPhone model, as shown on the computer-animated images in Prosser’s video.

He also claims this futuristic model will be a bit thicker than its predecessors because the cameras will be fitted under the surface and it will feature a larger battery. The Lightning port is to remain in the iPhone 14. The volume controls, on the other hand, are supposed to be round again.

Credibility uncertain

Prosser knows how to put himself in the spotlight and seems to have chosen just the right time to present his revelation story. At the moment, this leak probably should be given light entertainment value rather than serious information value.

Whether this information about the iPhone 14 is reliable is still very uncertain. First, we want to find out what the truth is about the 13 model. We’ll know on 14 September when it’s revealed. Here’s all latest news on the iPhone 13:

«I want it all! The terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles!» – these words spoken by an iconic American TV celebrity could have been mine. It's a take on life I also apply to my job. What does this mean in concrete terms? That every story has its charm; no matter how small, large, exciting or trivial. The more eclectic the mix, the better.
