We now have an aluminium valve for tubeless tyres and a synthetic sealant in our shop. The valve is designed to offer a higher air flow rate.

Wintertime is preparation time - at least for outdoor sports on a road, mountain or gravel bike. Are you specifically interested in tubeless accessories? Then perhaps the "Big Bore Lite" valves and the "Road & Gravel" sealant from the English brand Muc-off are of interest to you.

Tubeless valve "Big Bore Lite"

The "Big Bore Lite" valve was specially developed to maximise air supply and efficiency. According to the manufacturer, it has a patented design with a continuous inner channel that allows up to 230 per cent more air flow compared to conventional Presta valves. This should allow you to inflate the tyre faster and fill it with sealant more efficiently.

A faster air flow also makes it easier to adjust the tyre pressure while riding, which should be particularly advantageous on changing terrain. The valve is now available from us in different sizes: 30, 35, 45 and 60 millimetres.

The "Big Bore Lite" valve is made from CNC machined 7075 grade aluminium, one of the strongest aluminium alloys commercially available. This alloy contains zinc as its main component and is characterised by its high strength and hardness. Compared to other alloys such as 6061, 7075 offers higher tensile and shear strength, making it ideal for applications that require high load-bearing capacity. The ball valve is made of stainless steel. With the integrated lever, you should be able to easily control the air flow and adjust the pressure even while riding.

According to the manufacturer, the valve is easy to maintain and designed for use in demanding conditions.

Sealant "Road & Gravel Tubeless"

According to the manufacturer, the sealant is made from synthetic latex and is designed to seal holes up to seven millimetres in size. It was developed for high tyre pressure, according to the manufacturer. The sealing particles are said to be non-toxic, allergen-free and biodegradable.
