Nvidia introduces RTX 4070 Ti and RTX-40 series mobile graphics cards
The third and so far cheapest card in the RTX-40 series is supposed to be faster than an RTX 3090 Ti. The launch is on 5 January at 3 pm.
The RTX 4070 Ti is said to achieve up to 40 Tera Floating Point Operations Per Second (TFLOPs), the same as the flagship of the previous generation RTX 3090 Ti. By comparison, a Playstation 5 offers 10.28 TFLOPs. The card fires the AD104 GPU with 7680 Cuda cores. 12 GB of GDDR6X memory is also included with a speed of 21 gigabits per second. Nvidia specifies the thermal power dissipation (TDP) at 285 watts, 5 watts less than the previous GPU. Here are all the specifications at a glance:

Depending on the game, up to three times as many FPS as with an RTX 3090 Ti should be possible. On average, Nvidia states 1.8 times as many FPS at half the power consumption. The DLSS 3 upscaling technology seems to help here. The first independent tests will show whether these figures are correct.
The third card based on the Ada-Lovelace architecture is manufactured in the 4N process at TSMC. It has around 10 billion transistors and the the is 295 square millimetres.
In terms of specifications, this is the same card that Nvidia introduced last September as the RTX 4080 and then withdrew. As the 4070 Ti, Nvidia is lowering the recommended retail price by $100.
There is no Founders Edition of the RTX 4070 Ti, only partner cards. The first tests of the GPU can be expected as early as 4 January. Nvidia quotes a price of 799 US dollars. This will probably apply to the cheapest models in the USA. You'll find out what the price will be in our country when it goes on sale. Mobile graphics cards
In addition to the RTX 4070 Ti, Nvidia has also announced the mobile cards of the RTX-40 series. They are said to be up to four times as fast as the previous generation. The GPU developer has announced five models: RTX 4090, RTX 4080, RTX 4070, RTX 4060, RTX 4050. The first models are to be available in notebooks from February 2023.
