Oppo introduces two new folding phones and three other innovations

Oppo shows two new foldable smartphones at its Inno Day 2022. The technology of the folding function and hardware are said to have been greatly improved, but are presented rather reservedly together with other innovations.
The two latest smartphones in the foldables range, the longitudinally foldable Find N2 and the foldable Find N2 Flip bring some innovations. In addition, Oppo is also introducing innovations in healthcare and audio, as well as a pair of tech-equipped glasses designed to make everyday life easier.
Two new foldables
The Oppo Find N and Find N2 Flip are two foldable smartphones, of which only the Flip will make its way to Europe in the first quarter of 2023. Currently, only a few details are available.

Everyday smartphone for the global market: the Oppo Find N2 Flip
Oppo wants to score with its foldables outside China. To achieve this, the manufacturer is trying to eradicate the disadvantages of flip phones
.
For example, the flip variant has an external display in portrait format and is thus supposed to be clearer. It is supposed to be able to display several notifications at the same time and have a good resolution for viewing photos.
The smartphone is supposed to have a flip display.
The smartphone is also said to be able to last a day on its 4300mAh battery. In comparison, the Motorola razr 2022 has a 3800mAh battery and the <.a href="/page/unfolding-good-four-thoughts-on-samsung-galaxy-z-flip-4-25216">Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is just below that at 3700mAh.
The most important part of the foldable phone is, of course, the hinge. It is said to be designed in such a way that the fold is almost invisible. So far, Oppo is not revealing more about the alleged improvements.
Not yet planned for Europe: the Oppo Find N2
Much more is known about the Find N2, but for now it will only be sold in China. At 233 grams, the folding smartphone is 42 grams lighter than its predecessor. When folded, it is only 14.6 millimetres thick. By comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 measures 15.8 millimetres at its widest point and weighs 263 grams.

The Find N2 closes flush and could also be folded over 400 000 times without breaking. Photos of their presentation point out that the fold will not be as noticeable compared to other foldables.

The Flip N2 comes with Qualcomm's powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Its main camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels. The ultra-wide-angle camera follows closely behind with 48 megapixels.
Three more innovations for everyday life
With the OHealth H1, which is only to be released in China, health data can be monitored with the help of sensors and algorithms. In-house chip development puts forward a Bluetooth audio SoC for clear and lossless transmission. The third innovation Oppo is showing is assisted reality glasses.
The OHealth H1: Health check on the go
The 95-gram device seems a bit mysterious with the little information so far, but it sounds exciting. It is supposed to be able to be taken everywhere and to allow and simplify regular measurements in everyday life
.
As a medical device, it helps to monitor the health data of several people with just one device. These include measurements of blood oxygen, ECG, listening to heart and lung sounds, heart rate, body temperature and sleep. It is measured with the help of sensors on the underside and various algorithms.

Data protection and other health care regulations mean that the device will not make its way to Europe.
The MariSilicon Y: provides clearer music enjoyment
Under the MariSilicon label, Oppo has already produced its own chip that improves photo and video creation. Now Oppo presents a chip with improved technology for audio.
The MariSilicon Y is said to enable audio transmission with 24 bits and 192 kHz. This ensures an extremely clear and loss-free quality that comes close to wired connections. At the same time, it is supposed to enable spatial audio experiences. Unsurprisingly, the microchip is primarily intended for headphones of various designs.
The Air Glass 2: Glasses for more than just a sharp image
The glasses look like what I would expect to see in current eyewear shops, but are presented by Oppo as assisted reality glasses. These assist your everyday life with various features that can be superimposed. The glasses have a special lens built in for vision correction and other optical adjustments.

You can also use the glasses to make phone calls, display real-time translations, use location navigation or convert spoken language into text. The glasses weigh around 38 grams and are very robust.
They are also very robust.
