Pokémon: New Netflix series, sleep tracking app and updates for "Crimson & Crimson"
The Pokémon Company has announced new fodder for Pokémon fans in a livestream. In addition to a new Netflix series and a sleep-tracking app, trainers can look forward to new updates to existing games.
On 27 February, "Pokémon" fans around the world celebrate "Pokémon Day". The first "Pokémon" games were released in Japan on this day. As every year, there is a lot of news about the franchise to celebrate the day.
In a "Pokémon Presents" livestream, the Pokémon Company announced numerous new products, events and updates.

Sleep better with "Pokémon Sleep"
"Pokémon Sleep" is a sleep tracking app for mobile devices. The app was announced four years ago - since then, the Pokémon Company has remained silent. Many fans expected that the app would never be finalised.
"Pokémon Sleep" measures your sleep behaviour in a playful way and rewards you with new Pokémon if you use it regularly - you catch the cute little creatures while you sleep, so to speak. "Rest like the very best" is the motto.
For sleep tracking, you need to place your mobile on your bed during the night. Alternatively, you can use the newly announced "Pokémon Go Plus +" device. The accessory can also be used for the mobile AR game "Pokémon Go". And it sings you lullabies when needed. Yes, you read that right.
The app will be released for Android and iOS later this year. The "Pokémon Go Plus +" accessory will be available from 21 July.
"Pokémon Concierge": New Netflix series with a stop-motion look
In a complete surprise, the Pokémon Company and Netflix have announced a new "Pokémon" series for streaming. "Pokémon Concierge" is set in a Pokémon resort and comes in a beautiful stop-motion look. Netflix and the Pokémon Company are still keeping the content of the series under wraps. "Pokémon Concierge" should be available soon - an exact date has not been given.
Big updates for "Pokémon Crimson & Purple"
"Pokémon Crimson & Purple" are huge open-world games. Those who still haven't had enough despite the immense size of the Paldea region can look forward to several major updates.
Two new Paradox Pokémon are now available in Tera Raids. For "Crimson" players there is the water and dragon Pokémon "Windewoge" and "Purple" players can look forward to the plant and psychic Pokémon "Ironleaf". We are also pleased to announce that both "Crimson" and "Crimson" will be connected to the Pokémon database "Pokémon Home" in the coming weeks. This will allow you to securely store your Pokémon from the Paldea region in the cloud.
Two major story expansions for "Pokémon Crimson & Purple" have also been announced. The first chapter, entitled "The Turquoise Green Mask", takes you on a school trip to a new, mysterious region. In the second part, "The Indigo Blue Disc", you spend an exchange semester at a new academy. Both expansions feature new legendary Pokémon and familiar Pokémon that have not yet appeared in the Paldea region.
The DLC is available to pre-order now. The first chapter will be released in autumn and the second chapter in winter 2023.
Numerous updates for "Pokémon Unite", "Pokémon Café Remix" and "Pokémon Masters EX"
Fans of the "Pokémon" free-to-play games can also look forward to numerous updates.
The MOBA mobile spin-off "Pokémon Unite" has now been downloaded over 100 million times. To celebrate this milestone, there are new playable characters (Zacian) and new game modes - including a boss rush mode. In the mobile puzzle game "Pokémon Café Remix", there are new Pokémon and new recipes from the Paldea region to discover. In addition, new companions are now available for "Pokémon Masters EX", which you can recruit.

The "Pokémon World Championships" will take place in Yokohama in 2023
Every year, thousands of Trainers from all over the world come together at the Pokémon World Championships to test their strength in various Pokémon games. Last year's edition in London was attended by over 10,000 visitors.
This year, the Championships will take place in Japan for the first time - from 11 to 13 August in Yokohama. "Pokémon Crimson & Purple", the mobile MOBA spin-off "Pokémon Unite", the AR hit "Pokémon GO" and the "Pokémon" card game will be played.

The "Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic" is an elegant trading card set that is designed to "last a lifetime". The set contains classic cards from the first "Pokémon" generation. A release date has not been revealed. You can get a taste of the set at the "Pokémon World Championships" in Yokohama.
