Dehumidifiers are more in demand now than ever. Galaxus sold 91 per cent more of the appliances in 2024 than in the previous year – and five times as many as in 2020. The boom is being driven by new buildings with improved insulation. Added to this was a very warm 2024, which brought a lot of humid air our way from the Mediterranean.

In-ear, over-ear, open, closed, designed for gaming, sports or the office – the headphone industry is creating an ever-increasing range of products, setting trends that include true wireless, hybrid noise-cancelling and AI/smart functions. Galaxus and Digitec sold 25.4 per cent more headphones in Switzerland and the EU in 2024 than in the previous year. But there’s one category of headphone accessories that’s shrinking rapidly.
