Survey shows: Game developers think nothing at all of NFTs
Game developers have a clear opinion when it comes to cryptocurrency and NFTs: "I don't care."
Non-fungible tokens (NFT) are digital objects that can be identified beyond doubt. In the form of images, for example, they can be easily copied, but the original remains unique. In the past year, NFT projects have mushroomed. This is also the case in the game industry. However, a survey by the Game Developer Conference GDC now shows that developers have no interest in NFTs at all.
Every year, the GDC conducts a survey before the conference to find out what moves the industry and what the future holds. Studios have precious little for the controversial NFTs and cryptocurrencies. An overwhelming majority of 70 percent are clearly against NFTs and cryptocurrencies. The comments on them don't leave a good hair on the newfangled development either:

Companies like Ubisoft have already jumped on the NFT bandwagon. So far, only a few players have shown interest. Nevertheless, new games that want to capitalize on NFT and cryptocurrencies are sprouting up all the time.
The GDC will take place from March 21 to March 25 in San Francisco.
