The new iPad Pro has a keyboard with trackpad

For Apple, the iPad Pro is a computer and not a tablet. So it's only logical that the new iPad Pro comes with a keyboard and trackpad as an accessory. In future, you will also be able to control your iPad with a mouse.
The new iPad Pro is still available in two sizes. You can choose between an 11 or 12.9-inch Liquid Retina Display. With a refresh rate of 120 Hertz and True Tone technology, which adjusts the colour temperature to the ambient light, there are no new features.
iPad Pro: dual camera, LiDAR scanner and more
More has been done in other areas. The A12Z Bionic chipset is said to provide more computing power than its predecessors and the microphone is said to have improved. We are talking about studio quality.
Looking at the back, you can see that the new iPad Pro has a dual camera. In addition to the main camera (wide-angle and 12 megapixels), there is an ultra-wide-angle camera with 10 megapixels. Not so obvious is the LiDAR scanner. Apple refers to the fact that NASA is using the technology, which detects reflected light at a distance of up to five metres, for the next Mars mission. In the iPad Pro, the data is used in AR applications.

According to Apple, the battery lasts a whole day, which allegedly no notebook can do. Music and other sound continues to come from four speakers and the WLAN now supports WiFi 6. You can optionally opt for a tablet with an LTE modem and of course continue to choose from different storage sizes.
Magic Keyboard: trackpad and stand
The new Magic Keyboard is available in two sizes to match the iPad Pro. It is a cover for the tablet that is also a stand and contains a keyboard. The iPad holds magnetically to the case and floats on the stand. It does not have to be placed on the table. This allows you to adjust the angle freely and continuously.

According to Apple, the Magic Keyboard has a full-size keyboard and a trackpad. There is a USB-C port on the side of the case, which you can use to charge the iPad Pro.
Apple plans to sell the new iPad Pro from 25 March. The Magic Keyboard will follow later, without an exact date.
iPadOS 13.4: Mice for everyone
Along with the new iPad Pro, Apple has announced that iPadOS 13.4 will be available for installation from 24 March. The operating system update will include mouse support for all iPads from the iPad Air 2 upwards. For Apple, this applies to the Magic Mouse 2 and the Magic Trackpad 2, while all third-party mice that can be connected via Bluetooth or USB (the iPad Pro has a USB-C port) will be supported.

When I was but a young student, I'd sit in my friend's living room with all my classmates and play on his SuperNES. Since then I've had the opportunity to test out all the newest technology for you. I've done reviews at Curved, Computer Bild and Netzwelt, and have now arrived at Galaxus.de.
