This is what the Playstation VR 2 looks like

After controllers and specifications were already known, Sony now also reveals the design of the Playstation VR2 headset.
Sony's new PS VR2 virtual reality goggles are visually based on the Playstation 5. Just like the PS VR2 Sense controllers, the PS VR2 headset unveiled on Tuesday relies on a sphere-like design in black and white. Ergonomically, it is a further development of the previous model, which was known for its high wearing comfort. The headset can be adjusted to different head sizes via a rotating mechanism like in bicycle helmets.

The design has become a bit slimmer and lighter, although a motor is now integrated for haptic feedback. There are also two small gaps on the top and front of the visor for better ventilation.

Already known are the specifications of the PS VR2. These include 4K HDR, up to 120 Hz refresh rate, and a field of view of 110 degrees. The VR goggles work in conjunction with the PS5 and connect to the console via a single USB-C cable. There is no release date for the PS VR 2 yet.

Being the game and gadget geek that I am, working at digitec and Galaxus makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop – but it does take its toll on my wallet. I enjoy tinkering with my PC in Tim Taylor fashion and talking about games on my podcast http://www.onemorelevel.ch. To satisfy my need for speed, I get on my full suspension mountain bike and set out to find some nice trails. My thirst for culture is quenched by deep conversations over a couple of cold ones at the mostly frustrating games of FC Winterthur.
