Unique in the world for CPU water coolers, the Vario models feature a base plate that can be deformed during operation - never before has it been possible to adjust a CPU cooler for optimum fit to the CPU during operation. The models with Vision module are equipped with powerful electronics: A high-resolution OLED display, integrated water temperature measurement and USB interface are just three examples from the range of functions.

The cooler bottom of the Cuplex Kryos Next is equipped with an extremely fine microstructure, the structure width is less than 200 µm. The coolant flows centrally onto the microstructure via a flat nozzle integrated in the cooler housing and is discharged from there in two directions. Depending on the cooler variant, the cooler base is made of copper, nickel-plated copper or .925 sterling silver.

The mounting system of the Cuplex Kryos Next consists of solid stainless steel sheets in 2.5 mm material thickness, into which nickel-plated spring cups are pressed. Thumbscrews and springs secure the cooler to the motherboard, and when mounted, the mounting system looks very tidy due to the spring cups and low profile. All mounting variants have a defined stop for optimal contact pressure and force distribution. The thumbscrews can be mounted by hand, additionally a hexagon socket drive allows for easy mounting.

For optimal performance, each Cuplex Kryos Next comes with excellent thermal paste. It is 0.5 grams of Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, packaged in a syringe for easy application. Also included is a plastic spatula for application. The paste has high thermal conductivity and spreads very well between the CPU and water cooler during installation thanks to its low viscosity. The supplied amount is enough for about five assemblies of the cooler.
