The kryoM.2 micro is simply clipped onto the SSD with the enclosed stainless steel clips. The enclosed heat conducting pad is first mounted between the SSD and the cooler.
The cooling capacity is sufficient for many applications and the compact dimensions make the cooler suitable for almost all mainboard manufacturers and models.
The SSD is not subjected to mechanical stress during assembly. The clips are attached from the side and then simply clipped over the edge of the aluminium profile. The board edge is not touched.
