This compact and lightweight 24mm fixed focal length lens combines the wide-angle field of view with high speed for creative shooting - even in low light. The 5-stop optical image stabiliser allows for
longer shutter speeds and smooth video recording when shooting handheld. With an EOS R camera body equipped with In-Camera Image Stabilizer (IBIS), even higher stabilisation is possible (6.5 stops). The close focus distance of 14cm (at 0.5x magnification or half life size) is a real advantage for creative wide-angle shooting, allowing you to get extra close and show the subject in its surroundings. A configurable control ring and separate focus ring allow fine adjustment of focus, ISO, aperture or changing the AF method.
