Product details
This memory is characterized by the high clock frequency and low latency. Coupled with the heatspreader to dissipate the heat, it is ideally suited for use in high-end systems. The memory is also interesting for gamers and overclockers due to its high overclocking potential. The memory has been tested and optimized for use in systems with the Intel Z390 and AMD X570 chipsets.
Visual Upgrade: Add colorful accents to your PC build with the extra bright LED lighting. Corsair iCUE software also lets you set a myriad of effects to bring your system to life. Dynamic RGB lighting control syncs with all your iCUE-compatible products, including memory, fans, RGB LED light strips, keyboards, and more.
Overclocking your RAM is temperature dependent. If it gets too hot, the speed will drop and you will get less performance. To prevent this, Corsair Vengeance RAM modules have an aluminum heatspreader that dissipates the heat generated evenly. Manually overclocking your DRAM can be a lot of fun. However, it can also take a lot of time to get it set up ideally. XMP support allows you to overclock smoothly and automatically if you have a motherboard that supports XMP. This way you get reliable performance without lockups or other strange behavior.
DDR4 brings some improvements in terms of speed and performance compared to previous generations. A fourth generation RAM bar has more pins connecting it to the board to match the higher speed. Each DIMM gets a direct line to the CPU controller to avoid delays or bottlenecks in data transfer from the CPU to RAM. DDR4 also includes innovations that reduce power requirements and increase reliability.

... Furthermore, the Corsair modules have decent reserves, either for tighter timings or overclocking to DDR4-3866 at the standard voltage of 1.35 volts. However, you should not expect a tuning monster, the kit cannot cope with sharp timings. And don't forget: 64 GiByte are overdimensioned just for gaming.
