The 8-port D-Link DGS-108 is designed for small and medium-sized businesses with transfer rates of up to 2000 Mbps in Gigabit Ethernet and is ideal for fast file transfers. Each of these ports has two
separate colour LEDs for quick identification of the connection status. The switch supports the IEEE 802.1p QoS standard and prioritises data, especially streaming, VoIP and online gaming. The Kensignton security slot on the back allows you to mount the device on a table or desk. Thanks to the absence of a fan and the robust metal housing, these perfectly quiet switches are ideal for offices, libraries or meeting rooms, or for vulnerable industrial locations such as factories and warehouses.

D-Link Green Technology saves energy and reduces heat generation, extending the life of the product without compromising performance. IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) detects when a connected computer is powered off or there is no Ethernet traffic to turn off the port. It also detects the length of cable used on each port and adjusts its power to use only the energy needed for good transmission.

The DGS-108 has been designed with the environment in mind. It is Energy Star Level V, CEC and MEPS compliant and requires the use of low-cost sector adapters. It also complies with the RoHS standard, which reduces the use of certain materials, and comes with an EnergyStar Level V compliant power supply, all in fully recyclable packaging.
