This bookshelf speaker system is equipped with Bluetooth for easy wireless music playback and also features two RCA inputs for wired connection to audio sources. The 4-inch bass driver with a front-facing bass reflex port delivers robust, rich bass notes. The high frequencies are clear, and combined with the mids, they create a warm, full sound. The R1700BT speaker system consists of an active and a passive speaker. On the active speaker, three knobs allow you to adjust bass intensity, treble, and volume. A remote control is also included for muting and adjusting the volume conveniently from the sofa.

Music can be played directly from a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or music player via Bluetooth through the two speakers. On the back of the active speaker, there are two RCA stereo inputs, allowing two audio sources to be connected simultaneously to the Edifier R1700BT speaker system. The Edifier R1700BT is excellent for use with a television or computer. Audio sources with a 3.5 mm jack can also be easily connected using the included audio cable. When combined with a turntable, vinyl records can be played effortlessly and in top-notch sound quality through the R1700BT speakers.
