EKWB EK-Quantum Magnitude D-RGB AM4 Water Cooler - Nickel + Acrylic

D-RGB AM4 has a convex cooler bottom and thus lies perfectly on the concave IHS of the AMD CPUs. A special insert distributes the water flow evenly over the processor die. The optimized cooler bottom offers a 50 percent increased cooling area compared to the previous EKWB models due to the micro channels with 0.40 mm width and the only 0.26 mm thick micro fins. In conjunction with the high-purity and thermally conductive copper, this ensures perfect heat transfer. The modular design of the EK-Quantum Magnitude D-RGB heatsinks is unique. Individual components can be exchanged in order to perfectly match and adapt the water cooler to your own system. For example, the outer mounting frame, the inner accent frame, the lid and the base are available in different materials and colors. The special insert of the EK-Quantum Magnitude AM4 has a certain offset to optimally guide the coolant flow over the hot components of the processor. Thus, both the chiplets and the I/O die are cooled more optimally. The inner Accent frame is made of nickel-plated brass and houses the cooler's D-RGB lighting. The integrated RGB strip has a full 30 digitally addressable RGB LEDs which are connected via a 3-pin RGB connector (5VDG, 5V). A flat cooler bottom is also available as an option, for example for use with flat ground IHS heatspreaders. For particularly concave IHS, an additional jet plate is included with the Magnitude D-RGB-AM4 cooler. This curves the cooler bottom by another 0.1mm to the outside which improves the contact to the CPU. The scope of delivery includes mounting hardware and a 1 gram tube of Thermal Grizzly thermal compound.
