solid workmanship, consistent concept and excellent performance values. All speakers in the Electrovoice EKX series are available in both active and passive versions.
The Electrovoice EKX-12 is the passive version of the EKX-12P. Without an amplifier unit, the extensive DSP functions are of course also omitted here. This speaker is therefore more interesting as an installation solution than for mobile use. The EKX-12 is an extremely resilient, level-resistant and well-tuned loudspeaker that should be more than sufficient for many live applications with a maximum achievable sound pressure level of 131dB. Combined with the EKX-15S or EKX-18S subwoofers, the result is a highly efficient, powerful PA system. The bevelled body of the Electrovoice EKX speakers also makes them ideal as stage monitors.
