The fastest enclosure in the test works with a PCIe-SSD, but slows it down to around 1 GByte/s due to the interface. The enclosure is sufficiently fast for booting an operating system; with the 980 Pro we achieved more than 64,000 IOPS during reading. Transparent plastic strips on the top of the case are illuminated by the PCB in an RGB pattern, but the lighting cannot be integrated into an RGB setup.
