DAB+ is the radio standard of today: enjoy digital sound quality and a wide variety of programmes to the full. In addition to receiving analogue FM stations, the DAB+ radio offers the option of receiving DAB+ stations' digital radio programmes, which will soon number 250 in Germany. Additional information on the DAB stations is shown in good quality on the TFT colour display.
An ultra-sharp 61 mm TFT colour display positioned centrally on the front panel is responsible for displaying the selected radio station and other information such as the slide show or station logo. The radio is operated via the buttons on the top of the device or via the infrared remote control included in the scope of delivery. There are 20 presets each for DAB+ and FM stations. If required, the CR-ST80DAB switches off automatically after going to sleep using the integrated snooze function or starts playback at the programmed wake-up time in the morning.
If you want to use an MP3 player or portable CD player for music playback, you can connect it to the analogue 3.5 mm jack input. In this way, mobile phones, tablets and computers can also be connected to the radio via a cable. And the integrated mini-jack output even allows the Kenwood radio to be connected to a stationary hi-fi system - or an active subwoofer emitting the deep bass.
