High-quality materials
The Q2 Barebone is made from a CNC-machined 6063 aluminum chassis that goes through 24 processes, including polishing, anodizing, and sandblasting. The gasket-mounted design gives the board a comfortable, flexible feel with excellent sound. The Q2's maximum flex is up to 2.5mm.
Compatibility with Mac and Windows
The barebone keyboard features a toggle switch for the operating system and an additional set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems.
Programming with QMK & VIA
With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap every key (including Knob) on the keyboard. The open source VIA firmware allows you to define any key, keyboard layout or backlight. Even writing from MACROS for custom key combinations you want on your Keychron Q2. VIA supports macOS, Windows and Linux.
Hot-swap board with premium switches and stabilizers
The hot-swappable board supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical MX switches. The Q2 barebone is equipped with premium screw stabilizers that provide stability and smoothness. The screw design also allows compatibility with a wide range of other stabilizers.
South-Facing RGB Lighting
South-facing RGB SMD LED lighting is easy to see, allowing each key to be individually illuminated. Optimal for translucent PBT keycaps.
