With the G 1/4" adapter for the Eheim 1046/48 it is possible to use connections with G1/4" external thread. The adapter is simply screwed into the front of the pump and can be used if an expansion tank is not required. It has an O-ring seal.(3/8" to 1/4" adapter) Technical details: Material: Brass, gold-plated Thread size: 1/4 inch Scope of delivery: Pump adapter knurled with long-life sealing ring Please note: Do not screw in the adapter "dry", otherwise the O-ring will torsion and then leak. Therefore, moisten the O-ring before screwing it in, then there will be no problems. Note: Over tightening the pump adapter can cause the plastic trim to break. By resting the O-ring and a slight twisting motion by hand, the tightness is already guaranteed.
