The free-standing motor unit with 15V synchronous motor is driven by a precision generator with DC power supply. This ultra pure power supply for the motor ensures superior smoothness and is a rarity in this price range. The revolutionary new design of the S-shaped tonearm uses a material mix of carbon fiber, aluminum and synthetic resin for the tonearm tube. Through a very complex 3-stage process, is achieved by means of heat treatments under 100bar high pressure outstanding rigidity, maximum internal damping and low resonance, which is why this tonearm is also suitable for MC cartridges.
