I have installed Epson Scan 2 Utility.app and Epson Scan 2.app. SilverFast also works with this.

Yes, Epson Scan 2 is included, which can scan colour and black-and-white negatives and convert them into positive images.

Yes! I have a Mac Book with M1 chip and it works perfectly.
In principle this should not be a problem, but it will take much longer in terms of scan time. :)

Here are the indications from the brand's website: Compatible operating systems: Mac OS 10.5.8 or later, Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista, Windows XP. It would seem that this is possible under this system.

No, a target is not supplied, the software is from Epson and as far as I have seen it does not allow this.

I use it with my MacBook Pro, most recently on Big Sur. Epson's own software can be used as a basic scanner. For photos, there's currently a link to a special edition of Silverfast 8, as the software on the Epson CD doesn't currently run with Mac OS.

Hello, yes it is possible - but I have only had experience with SW so far - but the results here are very nice.
It is best to contact Epson or Digitec customer service directly regarding your enquiry.

No, it’s only a flat bed scanner. It’s a photo/artist scanner and not designed for multiple page documents.
