The price development is kind of blatant, I bought the predecessor model HP M254dw Color LaserJet Pro with exactly the same performance data (from resolution to power consumption) here in October 2017 for CHF 239. I'm now on my second set of cartridges and need a replacement, which would cost me CHF 449 with HP cartridges here...

I got this printer today and wanted to connect it to my iMac (2017 model) with macOS Catalina 10.15.07 via WLAN. It finds it in the settings and when I want to "Add" it, after a while it says: "An error occurred while adding the selected device. Communication with the printer is currently not possible". However, the printer is connected to the WLAN. I was able to install the printer via the USB cable, but the destination would be via WLAN. Many thanks in advance for your help!

I don't know, because my printer works fine with WLAN under Windows 7 to 11, and also with the iPhone. Please contact HP support.

Hello, small question, when you buy the product are there any drops supplied inside? If so, is it 100% or 50% full?

I only use the one tray that is available and the manual feed. You would have to check with HP, but I don't think there is one. If you need three trays, it's better to order a printer with three trays

Seems to be a very popular printer? I ordered it on 25/04/21 and delivery kept getting pushed back, currently it says "ordered from supplier, expected to be available in 3-5 days" but the product page itself says "Delivered between Tue 17/8 and Tue 14/9" - anyone know more?
