That's why i bought a rest-stock of the ancient MX Anywhere 1 with replacable batteries. They are well in hand, ergonomically so to speak, are silent, welll to move etc. - they are no longer manufactured and sold - but i do have 3 replacement-ones - and they will be my last mices -ever. maybe ;). BR and hey, you can write that also as a review below (and give it an appropriate rating with maybe no stars).

According to our research, the MX Anywhere 3 is more expensive than the MX Anywhere 3s because it offers higher quality materials, a more precise electromagnetic mouse wheel, a higher resolution (up to 4000 DPI), longer battery life and more customisation options via the Logitech Options software.

I have the Logitech MX Anywhere 3 for Mac at home (Logitech MX Anywhere 3 for Mac (Wireless)) and use it alternately on Mac and PC (has a little button on the bottom that lets you switch between up to three computers). At the office I have its bigger brother Logitech MX Master (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/logitech-mx-master-3s-for-mac-kabellos-maus-22490475). I'm pretty sure any Logitech mouse will work with Mac and PC. As far as I know, the only difference between the normal = PC version and the Mac version is that the PC version comes with a small dongle, which the Mac version does not. PC people apparently don't mind having ugly dongles sticking out of their notebooks and trust Windows Bluetooth stability a little less. However, it definitely works on PC and Mac purely via Bluetooth and without a dongle with both mice mentioned. However, when I really work on the Mac (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere), nothing beats the Apple Magic Mouse. There you don't only have a scroll wheel for (up/down), but you can use the whole back of the mouse for scrolling in all directions, which is very good in the Adobe products for example (you can scroll and zoom at the same time without changing the selected tool). I hope it helps.

In my opinion there is no difference, I use it on the Mac and also on the Windows PC, I just switch. On the Mac there is a function where you can switch from the Mac to the iPad by simply moving the mouse to the edge of the desktop and it continues on the iPad. I'm not aware of anything else.

Yes, the MX Anywhere is suitable for left-handers as it is practically symmetrical, only the two buttons on the left side of the mouse will probably be ignored by a left-handed person. Yes, as with the MX Master (my home office mouse), the MX Anywhere 3 (my travel mouse) can be switched using the three buttons on the bottom.

It sounds like the mouse is defective. You have 24 months legal warranty. I would advise you to contact Logitech's service department. Good luck
