So, do you have: Sony BCR-NWWS410/M (Miscellaneous Video Accessories)
According to testimonials, the sound is exceptionally good (even under water). Without the product name of the older model, I cannot compare it with the Sony NW-WS623.
The Sony NW-WS623 is much more of a music player than a pair of headphones. Therefore, the part must first be recorded with songs, which works very well with iTunes, e.g. from a PC with a USB connection to the Sony. Ipad pro might also work if a suitable USB adapter can be provided. Bluetooth is not possible with this model. Once the songs are on, the device is a joy to use: long battery life, very good sound and weatherproof wearing comfort without tangled cables.
As far as I know, there are none with noise cancelling. It doesn't do much good in the water.
When you buy it, you will receive a package with all the earpieces, including waterproof versions. For replacement broken parts, ask at Digitec and at the Sony webpage www.sony.ch gruss
According to the manufacturer: 12 hours (MP3 128 kbit/s, ambient noise mode off) 10 hours (Linear PCM 1411 kbit/s, ambient noise mode off) 4 hours (Bluetooth® playback, ambient noise mode off). I need the Walkmann for long runs of 3-4h. I can safely do 3 laps without charging it.
Hello Anke Bautzmann. I have had this version for years. It is the 3rd version that I have bought. However, I would only use the headphones for sports, as the headband that goes through the back of the head at the hairline is a bit annoying for women with long hair. The rubber band pulls on the hair and is therefore a bit annoying for everyday use. However, to date I have not found an equivalent MP3 player that offers as much in one as this one. I would buy it again and again.
He has BLUETOOTH. The data at digitec are wrong and will be corrected in the next few days.
