For the price I can't find anything wrong with this CPU. I replaced an AMD 6400K (Richland) with it and I got approximately 5-8% more performance per core in my applications, despite a lower frequency (3.7GHz vs 3.9 GHz). Despite having double the number of cores, idle power consumption went down from approximately 62W to 53W at the wall and peak power consumption is the same at approximately 155W. Moderate loads only (2 threads at 100%, for example) only require 120W or so at the wall for the whole system. The included cooler is decent and the CPU is stable at a perfectly acceptable 61C during 24h maximum load tests. I haven't tried overclocking and am not really interested in that.
Note that I use my CPU in a home server, so I didn't really need a GPU. My applications are usually very well threaded, so I'd rather get the AMD 4-core instead of an Intel (like the G3258) that would give better gaming performance.
In summary: great CPU for a NAS system, home server or a budget desktop if you have an old GPU lying around (no need to pay + CHF80 for an APU...). Especially recommended for well-threaded applications.

Highly recommended budget CPU!
Info for benchmark seekers:
The 860K is identical in construction to the A10-7850K as far as the CPU is concerned, but does not have the iGPU of its "father". Therefore, graphics benchmarks with dedicated graphics cards and the 7850K are also valid for the 860K.
It is slower than the similarly priced Pentium G3258 in single-threaded applications, but beats it in multi-threaded applications because the Athlon has 4 physical cores. (I won't mention the architecture here... Google helps ;-) )
I can recommend the CPU especially in combination with the R7 260x, with it you can build a PC for about 500-600 CHF that can handle most games at least on medium settings. (For games like Battlefield, the detail level can even be set to "very high").

I think everyone who wants to buy this chip can roughly imagine what they want. My expectations have been exceeded. I have installed the CPU with a GTX 960 in a multimedia PC and can even play modern games like Dirt Rally or Mad Max. However, if you use programmes that are very CPU intensive, you will hardly be happy with this.
