The mixing console offers 2 Neutrik combo inputs for connecting microphones, guitar, bass, keyboards or other instruments. There are also 6 programmable smart pads with two bank change buttons for triggering sounds, effects, midi commands and other functions. Audio files can be stored in the 4 GB internal memory and easily triggered via the pads. There are 7 freely assignable channels for customising the mixer. There are 4 hardware faders per channel as well as mute and solo buttons. The device functions as a dual USB audio interface, allowing 2 computers or mobile devices to be connected simultaneously. Thanks to the integrated wireless receiver, wireless devices from the Rode IV series such as the Wireless Go II or the Wireless ME can be connected directly. The RodeCaster Duo works as a standalone device and impresses with its wide range of functions and intuitive operation on the 5.5 inch HD touchscreen. Stereo and multitrack recordings can be saved on the computer, USB storage medium or microSD. Integrated WIFI and the Ethernet connection provide a direct connection to the Internet and the option to integrate telephone calls. Two headphone connections and two balanced line outputs are available for monitoring the audio signal. There is a 3.5mm TRRS socket on the front for connecting a headset. The RodeCaster Duo is equipped with low-noise preamplifiers. There is also a DSP with numerous effects such as a high-pass filter, de-esser, noise gate, compressor, EQ, Aphex exciter and pan. This is complemented by integrated vocal effects such as reverb, echo, megaphone, robot, disguise and pitch shifter.
