It doesn't have to say "Ultra" (first place) to be a good tablet. If you can do without an AMOLED display, the S8 offers a lot. The performance is right and the runtime is top. Unlike the Ultra and S8+ models (fifth place), buyers save a lot of money.
The price range suggests it: The differences are great. The very affordable price-performance winner from Medion is suitable for writing tasks and comes with a keyboard free of charge. The Xiaomi Pad 5 and Apple's iPad score points for speed and endurance, and their good displays also allow video enjoyment. The test winner iPad Air is suitable for creative focuses that are energy-sapping.

With the Tab S8 and the Tab S8+, Samsung has succeeded in producing two top tablets that only differ in a few points. If you don't need an OLED screen, the smaller Tab S8 is the better choice. In the tested version, it is significantly cheaper at 799 euros than the Tab S8+, which costs around 999 euros, and offers the same performance and even a longer battery life...
