The compact 14 mm ultra wide angle lens helps the photographer to take unique pictures when "more" is to be seen on the picture. A light intensity of 1:2.8 enables impressive images even in poor lighting conditions. The two aspherical lenses used in the system reduce chromatic aberrations thanks to the Extra Low Dispersion process. Of course, the lenses are coated several times. This elaborately produced optic is focused manually, as is usual at Samyang. The lens hood is fixed to prevent annoying reflections and unwanted incidence of light. A close-up limit of only 28cm! With a close-up limit of only 28 cm, you can shoot sharp images with high contrast even from a short distance. In addition to the enormous width that this ultra-wide angle lens offers, it also impresses with its fabulous depth of field.
