Product details
With this USB dock, the new SIGMA lenses of the Contemporary, Art and Sports product series can be adapted to the personal needs of every photographer. Sigma has developed a special software for this purpose
(SIGMA Optimization Pro), with which you can easily update the lens firmware and adjust focus parameters, for example.
Sigma has its A1 MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) measurement system, which uses the 46-megapixel Foveon direct image sensor. Using this system, Sigma checks every lens in its new product line at Sigma's factory. Even previously undetectable high-frequency details are now testable as part of the quality control process that allows Sigma to deliver consistently high lens performance.
Sigma is focused on optimising quality with its integrated production systems, with its own hands and its own techniques. Sigma is one of the few manufacturers whose products are exclusively "Made in Japan". Sigma prides itself on the authentic quality of its products as the result of a combination of highly specialised expertise and intelligent modern technology.
