With this handy cable you connect a USB-C source device (with Alternate / Alt Mode support) directly to a DisplayPort display, TV or projector. No additional adapters or power supplies are required.
This USB Type-C to DisplayPort cable transmits audio and video signals and is HDCP compatible. Please note that not all USB-C devices support the required Alternate / Alt mode. This is required to transfer a video signal via USB-C interface. Please check before purchasing that your USB-C device supports Alternate / Alt mode. Supports resolutions up to 4K / UltraHD / 2160p (3840x2160) with full 60Hz refresh rate. Backward compatible to lower resolutions and DisplayPort versions such as FullHD / 1080p. Also supports mirror mode and extended screen mode. Plug&Play design, no external power supply or drivers required - connect and go! The USB-C and DisplayPort connectors are gold-plated for maximum conductivity and durable corrosion protection. The cable has a soft PVC sheath and excellent 2-fold shielding against interference, which enables error-free transmission even over long distances.
