The Sony Bravia 8 offers an outstanding OLED picture and good sound at a reasonable price. The addition of the Bravia Theatre Bar 8 creates an impressive 3D sound experience. The interaction between TV and soundbar works perfectly.
- High contrast with great colours
- good sound
- top equipment
- Normal TV picture (SDR) somewhat dark
The Bravia 9 is a stunner, but its price and size make it an option for very few people. The Bravia 8 delivers almost as good a picture quality at a lower brightness level and with smaller screen sizes. For the same price, the Bravia 7, which is also extremely bright, is one size larger and its weaker contrast is only slightly noticeable in bright surroundings.
